Ok, Here goes first post..
Until about 5 Days ago I had a 2003 Chevy Silvy 1500HD Crew Cab with the 6.0L V8. I was able to "WALK" as stated before a Nissan Titan by a full length. Mods were an AEM Brute Force CAI. Now the question is.. Did I walk him because I was the better driver? Because he let up? Because I did'nt?
Hmmmm... I guess I will never know.. (Chances are he let up) How about that for honesty.
Point is on any given day unless at the track where everyone is trying to do their best times overall you just do not know. Did he see something/someone I did not? Hmmm... Could be anything as I should not have been able to WALK a Titan. Mine is wound tight... It runs really well even in comparison to others of the same year. (this is mentioned by others not just by me) This is why I encourage people to test drive multiple vehicles of the same drivetrain to see if you are getting ahold of a dog or not.
I recently purchased the 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71 with the Vortec MAX, 367/375 and it runs very very well. It would surely smoke my previous 6.0L with just at 300 Horses.
Now for the funniest part of my semi racing story.. We are at about 6500ft where I live which severely cripples ANY machine.. So a race here rarely ends at speeds above the posted limit or starts with what most would call a Jack Rabbit start
