Go black. Enough said.
My friends that had seen the truck when I first bought it definitely like the black rims better. Some, not so big car/truck people, do a double take when I tell them that I painted the wheels even after they had already seen the truck previously with the alloy colored wheels. They all have given me the I thought it was factory reaction.
That was kind of the look/reaction I was going for. An OEM look that would set me apart from the other stock Titans on the road.
I can't afford new wheels and tires right now as I want to do the whole lift, wheels, tires all at the same time. Ideally I would be on 20" wheels with either 34 or 35" tires with a 4" or 6" lift right now, but that will all have to wait. Saving up to purchase a new place with the girlfriend next year is pushing out my modding plans for the truck. With my previous vehicle, I used to change my rims/tires every year to year and a half. But every so often, I would throw on OEM wheels to change things up. Truck tires/wheels are a little more expensive this time around so we’ll see how this goes.
I just washed the truck over the holiday and took some cleaner pictures of the wheels and truck. I'll try to post them tonight when I can.
