After running them for a week, I ran over a nail and started a slow leak. After a day or two, the low pressure sensor light turned on. I refilled the tire with air about 40 psi and the light turned off after driving it for several minutes. I guess the tech was right..it worked for me.

Hmmm. I had my little 17 in chromies put on when i bought my truck and they were also designed to were i couldn't use my sensors.. And my dam light has been on ever sense.... It irritates the sh*t out of me...
