Re: 08 with death wobble & vib

Rich, I think that part of the reason many are skeptical of your statements/opinion is because you have a grand total of nine posts and come on here basically proclaiming to know exactly what the problem is. Not trying to question your knowledge/ability, but maybe some background information on what you do, why you claim to know so much about these trucks would be helpful, informative, and might in fact give us reason to believe you!!

Heavier shocks??? Please explain that one to me. The OR and Non-OR trucks have the same coilover springs on the front, only the shock itself is different (Rancho Offroad shock vs. factory shock). The springs (which are the same) handle the weight of the truck, the shock just absorbs the energy that is stored in the spring.

I agree with that assessment, in that order, chances are that it's a bad tire, if not, then a bad wheel, and a slight possibility that it's the DS.

Ok, well instead of simply "you will get your result", how about an explanation, please??? The way I interperet it is that the shocks were the problem, but you didn't really come right out and say that, instead you went on blabbering about Nissan's procedures, yadda yadda yaddd...

which doesn't really do us any good in helping resolve the issue at hand! We could all really care less about that fact.

Now a bad wheel and/or tire? certainly. So if your changing out the shocks AND the wheels fixed it, the shocks probably weren't the culprit.
I agree.

Ok, so based on that theory, EVERY SINGLE 2008 PRO 4X LWB Titan should be experiencing this problem!
