If the valving in a specific shock setup is too stiff within 10% of the center or rest position it will transfer the oscillation of the wheel/tire assembly into the frame. Tire and wheel packages are not necessarily perfectly round even when road forced and balanced. By process of elimination this can be verified on the vehicle in question. The same truck with the standard set up does not exhibit the "wobble".

As to the tech line. They will deny any knowledge until the engineering department catches up with the real world. Then again, they don't have to deal wit the customer that wants his new bay fixed, NOW.

if the oscillation of the wheel/tire assembly is being transfered to the frame, then the wheel/tire assy. is the problem... a balanced wheel tire will not have any amount of signifigant oscillation.

the 08 pro-4x is the same thing as the 04-07 off-road package, with the exception of the 08 having some interior differences.

a shock, if it is doing what it is supposed to, will transfer some of the "bad vibes" to the vehilce via the frame.

i do notice that my 07 OR titan is significantly stiffer on the smaller bumps on the highway, but performs much better on gravel roads and off-road than my 2006 non-OR titan...

so in conclusion i believe you are FOS and the tire/wheel is a problem... not like a tire has never been bad...
