Hello,

I have a 07 CC and I tow my Jeep at least once a month. About 7000lbs plus. I have over 10,000 miles on it so far with no problems. BUT, I can tell by looking at the rotors they have been too hot already. I plan on changing my rotors and pads to slotted rotors with good aftermarket ceramic pads. You will notice a great improvement with this combo. I had to do the same thing on my last car, Acura TSX 6 speed, because the brakes really sucked. I overheated and warped the rotors within a couple weeks, they replaced them, and I warped again. They would not warranty them again and said it must be driver error...right! i checked some forums, and everyone that drove the TSX/RSX had changed them out. Honda has low warranty...because they blame it all on the driver. Whatever, after I put Proslots on it with Hawk pads, I never had a problem again.
Sorry about the long winded post. Anyway, that's why I plan to do the same with my Titan. It's an easy thing to do on your own. Are there any people that have heard which brand rotors work well in the Titan? Thanks.
