They are a lot different. The stillens are solid as the stock (front only) is hollow. It almost ( I stress almost) corners as well as my wifes Accord. Very controlled and solid. I was in the same boat as you and you will not be dissapointed w/ the right 5er. I love the cougar since it has their Hitch Vision which is an ingenious mirror on the front cap and is perfect for the Titan. I just look in my rearview mirror and back up. No need to get out and keep checking. Once you get your hieght right it's a one shot deal always. Unhooking is even easier. Pretty much all 5ers now have electric front jacks and you release the lock on the hitch, drop the front jack pins ( quick release pins) on the stabalizers and drive off. Thats it. Also w/ the 5er it is no problem to put the slide out w/o the rear stabalizer jacks. Wife loves this when it's raining. I could go on and on. I JUST LOVE IT.
