The closer you push to either side of these offset ranges the greater your chance of rubbing will be. Most rim companies try to build around 12-18mm offsets for our trucks.

Here are some tire options

285.50.22
295.45.22
305.45.22
A +50mm offset on a 9.5" rim gives a backspacing of 7.25".
That sticks the inside edge of the rim 1.75" closer to the steering knuckle than a stock LE or SE rims, (1.875" closer to the steering knuckle than the inside edge of an Off Road or XE rim). Wouldn't that be rubbing?
