It's a question of how much stuff you want to keep in the truck...
I have a desert tool box for my bike that works well because after all the trucks metric...The box has a complete set of 1/4" drive sockets, wrenchs 8mm-19mm screwdrivers, 1/2" Craftsman flex head ratchet and socket for the truck wheels, misc pliers, dikes, safety wire & pliers, 12V test light, several shop towels and cottong gloves and no less the 3 different flashlights and extra batteries...The box goes out on riding weekends or when off roading(see attach pic on how it stays put)

My 30ft strap always stays in the truck along with all the flashlights...
