Re: Brak Controller Woes: Pt2

OK -- back from the game (and completed the post game honey-do list). I can slow down now and try not to make so many spelling errors.

Nothing going on at the rear. Have the tow package factory hitch big mirrors etc. The truck came with a Nissan wiring harness that connects under the left dash (the connection could not have been tucked up any higher nor any harder to find/grab). I needed the harness that snaps into the Prodigy and then connects to the colored wires of the Nissan harness. Went back to my Airstream dealer and they gave me one (free!! -- Colonlal Airstream, NJ).

Connected all the wires -- NOT by twisting them but with those male/female electrical connectors -- had help). Here are the connections I made.

Prodigy = 4 wires (black = +12 volt, red = stoplight, white = ground, blue = trailer brakes, brown = not available).

Nissan harness = 5 wires (red/green = break signal, black = ground, brown/white = break out, r/l = ill ((which by process of elimination must be the red wire with blue stripe)), red = fused B+).

How I connected: Prodigy black to Nissan red AND red/blue
Prodigy red to Nissan red/green
Prodigy blue to Nissan brown'white
Prodigy white to Nissan black

That's it!? And you know what happened. Anything jump out at anyone. Gonna take it to Airstream next. They hook these things up everyday.
