It is not hard to do, but does take time. I drilled through the lower mounting points (there are 4 total) and relieved the middle support in the black plastic lower grill insert to make room for the backs of the lights.

There you are. Yours is the picture I saw several days ago but I couldn't find again. I like the placement of our lights and I believe I'll try to replicate that on my own truck if you don't mind me being an unoriginal copy cat.  Are your slim lights flood, driving or long range lights?
54warrior I also ordered this OEM switch from my local dealer this morning. It's a little cleaner looking and retains the OEM look. Thanks again for you guys informative posts.
