AMSOIL is great, but replacing your ATF with anything other than J-Matic will void your warranty.

Since it is a JATCO proprietary formula. They add a marker to ATF to analyse whether a stubstitute ATF was used since they provide the warranty to Nissan. If the tranny fails they pay Nissan the cost of exchange.
So you can bet they are looking for any excuse to avoid/void payment.

That does not mean other fluids will not work, just that if you end up with a warranty issue, you will be denied.
