Since you have an 04, check your Diff Cover to see if it has been upgraded to the Finned version. It will keep you cooler, and is an indication your lube has been changed from 80W-95 to the 75W-140 Synthetic now recommended for all Titans. Cover is available from dealer, I HIGHLY recommend you do that. The load you propose sounds fine, but upgrade the cover and oil.

04 had some failures of rears, Nissan covered them, past normal warranty. Check with your dealer.

Congrats on buying a Titan. Show some Pics of both trucks when you can, sounds interesting.
