Yeah guys, always start with the least aggressive method first. This way you won't run into as much trouble.

Here's the direction I'd go to get things off glass:
1. regular glass cleaner with a good scrubbing
2. Vinegar water mixture
3. Clay bar with a soapy water mix
4. 0000 steel wool (called 4 aught)
5. razor blade
6. Buff with a wool pad and light glaze.

Also...Get your wiper blades out of the way...Some cleaners will deteriorate the rubber and you won't realize they're screwed til you need them.
