To be honest I don't know anything about lift's for the newer F150s, but I bet it would look pretty good. I do however think it's going to be a pretty dang heavy setup and he better be getting some serious gears and be careful if he offroads because not only are 40"s pretty big, they're going to be really heavy and put a serious strain on his axles. Not to mention, 12" of lift on a truck with IFS is pretty stupid if you ask me, especially a half ton. Even if it's a pavement princess there's no way it will drive very good, and I don't see it riding very good either. But that's just my opinion. The axles and everything will hold up fine to the tires on the street though, I just wouldn't be too hard on it offroad, especially with IFS.
