The only things the actual tow package would add is the extendable towing mirrors (which I don't care for anyway), and the transmission temperature gauge that I don't really need. My question is this: Would my towing capacity be the same as if I had the actual towing package since I already have the most important towing "stuff", or is there something magical with the trans. temp gauge and the towing mirrors that take the towing capacity from 7300 to 9400 lbs? I am assuming that my truck has the higher towing capacity. Am I on track with my thinking? Thanks!!

I went to the nissan site and went to specs and options > capacities then under the column for pro-4x it looks like this
King Cab
Standard Bed
Maximum towing capacity (lbs.)
Without Tow Package
4x2 N/A
4x4 7,300
With Tow Package
4x2 N/A
4x4 9,300
Crew cab
Standard Bed
Maximum towing capacity (lbs.)
Without Tow Package
4x2 N/A
4x4 7,300
With Tow Package
4x2 N/A
4x4 9,300
