cats arent all there cracked up to be either they are prone to oil leeks and computer problems on there new non-mechanical diesel engines and also they are way to heavy gm tryed to put a small v6 cat in their 1tons a while back and it was way to heavy for their ifs and i dont think nssan wile opt for a straight axle. i work with heavy equipment and the best diesel out there is made by detroit diesil that would be the best choice in my opinion, maybe something modled after thier 30 series continues duty motors that run around 1hp-3tq, we have three of these motors on my drilling rig for lightplants and there power out put is 290hp and 790tq we run them study 24/7 for three weeks at a time when they get shut down for a maximum of about 3 hours to be moved and then fired up again weve had these same motors for 8 years and never touched them excedpt for regular maintaince every 400hrs
