Thought I'd put my .02 worth in. My brother just bought a new durmax with the alison trans. I think the truck is clean and can pull his 10K toyhauler with ease. He's borrowed my truck and I've borrowed his and can tell you first hand that the Titan is faster. I have a 4X4 SE with 325/60/18 Tires and a DR 2" lift in the front. His is completely stock 2wd. However with that said I've asked many time to race and he refuses until he gets a programmer. He just had the muffler cut and put on a S&B intake not much of a difference, just a little louder. He's going to get a mild tune and wider tires and then were going to race. He will probably put in a hot tune when we race, because he doesn't want to get embarrased!!!
