O.K. Guys here's the story. I have an 07 C.C. SE 4X4 with 325/60/18 Toyo Tires, Injen intake, Magnaflow exhaust and 2 degree timing. The Duramax is a 07.5 (LMM New Body Style) 2wd 2500 all stock except the muffler is cut off and a S&B intake, NO TUNE! I know this, because this is my brothers truck and I've been wanting to race him and I finally got him to give in. Rolling start at about 30 mph I give him a jump then bam I'm a good 1 truck ahead of him, I thought I was just faster, turns out as soon as he floored it, his truck downshifted twice thus my jump. So we start from a dead stop, I give him the jump and bam there he goes???
We were side by side I could not pull nor could he???? I thought I would definitly blow by him. NOT THE CASE! He is soon going to be adding a mild programer with wider tires. There's no way my truck can keep up after this. What else can I do for performance that will help??? Cams are not available for the 07 and talking with uprev, it won't do a hole lot for the 4X4 any suggestions... He agreed on the race as long as I raced him after the programmer is installed.... What do you guys think, I need a SC or a shot of N02????
