A friend of mine has a '02 DMax. He replaced the factory air filter with a K&N, replaced factory muffler with a Bullet Muffler, has a Bully Dog programmer on highest HP setting, and a Banks BigHead waste gate. He had zero trans problems. Then he install propane, and after using that a while the trans started going into limp mode in 4th gear on the allison trans (if I remember right). Needless to say he got rid of the propane and the trans is still working good. Once he completes the updates on his race car his is going to put a converter and rebuild the trans on the DMax.

I've ran him on the street a few times and although his truck is 1 sec and 10mph faster in the 1/4 mile, I can still beat him 0-80mph because of the traction problems he has. So try to race your brother right after he gets the programmer, if he is not used of the new power and has traction issues, you may just pull him off the line enough to where he can't run you down by the end of the 1/4 mile.
why does it always come down to the turbo? if its a factory turbo then its factory its not something added....if the titan came with a sc then it came with an sc...diesels do not come WITHOUT a turbo....

also, the dmax stock air filter is good for 500rwhp, the aftermarket just adds turbo whistle....
