I guess I wasn't clear.....what I posted had nothing to do with the "but he as a turbo excuse". Titanequipped asked what he should do to hang with or out run the dmax and I just suggested he go with a power adder. I said that because a programmer for the dmax would pick up approx 100hp, so I would think Titanequipped would need to pick up approx 100hp also (power adder).
Diesels today may be all turbo, but not very long ago many diesel engines came WITHOUT a turbo.
The DMax with the K&N doesn't sound any different that it did with the stock filter. Also, I've talked to a few turbo diesel owners at the track and asked them why some stock turbo diesels whistle more than others and everyone I spoke to said it was from running either no exhaust or just a straight pipe.
