Re: what gps

I have a TomTom one XL-S with the text to speech. Addresses, it's spot-on, it can navigate coast to coast with at least the accuracy of Mapquest and a billion times more convenient... plus you can calculate alternate routes.

The down side is that I can't seem to search for local POIs that I want. I tried Kohl's and it didn't find it. Giant foods? No go. A local sports goods location? No go. And I asked for "Manasses mall" and it took me out to the middle of nowhere. And it's not the first time either.

I'm going to be contacting TomTom to see if I got a bum model but in the meantime I do have a little bit of Garmin envy.

I'm looking for a chrome bug shield and a sub box for under the rear bench seat. Please PM me if you have one / know where one can be located.
