IF he gets the right programmer. For instance....a friend of mine and his dad both have 02 DMax with the same mods except for programmer. My friend has a bully dog programmer and his dad has superchips. My friend runs away from his dad in the 1/4. The only other difference in the 2 trucks is the Dad's truck has approx 3 inch taller tire.
