I have a leveling kit and 3" body lift

but I hacked one side to hell so I could probably clear a 36" w/proper backspaced rims if I cut it up the wall like it is on the inside.. think I have a pic...
oh yeah, and my old 17x9 had -12 offset so they already stuck out pretty far... I think about 2" or more even... eh, I'll figure it later I suppose... they had 4.5" BS think I actually understand it now.. get the size, cut it in half then subtract the 12mm from my 5" = 4.5" BS so if I could measure do it backwards 9"+1"= 10" cut in half = 5" -12mm/.5 = 4.5" BS

I just never used it to actually calculate tires... now on the other end, I had 17x7.5" stock OR wheels w/+25 or +30 iirc... which would be 8.5"/2=4.25+25=5.5" backspace stock which would be 3" sticking out? so wouldn't that mean 5.5" would only stick out 1" past stock OR? or does front space not work like back? I don't know how you got 2" past the stock 18" wheels, but I suppose I can just compare my -12 17x9 to the 0mm 18x10 to keep it simpler
