The intake tube on the Injen is bigger. Unfortunately there is really no way to home make a different intake tube because the size, bends, and location of the MAF will change the way the truck runs and if it's not right you could run lean.

I was suprised the increase in low to midrange throttle response I got with the Injen. Is it worth the money?? Only if you get a good deal. Even though I would never go back to the homemade CAI, I still think that it is very good bang for the buck.
