Re: 4X2 lift?
From my stand point I have never really understood why a person would take a 2WD truck and lift it 6,8 even 10 inches. When I see a lifted truck I think it is lifted for a reason. when I see a lifted 2WD truck I think someone is just to get some high school booty.
BUT I hate having my 2WD truck sitting low in the front. So Im leveling my truck...
But I have a different perspective than alot of people. i grew up in a placed where lifted trucks were used for what they was made for. and 2WD trucks was non-exsistent, they was pointless.
I had a friend who purchased a cheap-o 2wd dodge a few years back and got the most base model possible cause he was a cheap-o. then turned right around and spent over $4000 on a huge lift tires and wheels just because it looked cool and it got the attention of the girlies. It was almost like seeing those guys running around in there 1990 Honda Accords that are worth about $500 with a set of 22" Giovana wheels wrapped with rubber bands that cost about $10,000.
But to each his own, if you like it and its what you want. then do it bro. its your truck and no one else's. your the one that drives it, pays for it and puts gas in the tank. dont model your vehicle around what others want you to do.
