Well, considering my credit has always been perfect, I'm the single 5-figure household income, living in a neighborhood where everyone else makes 6-7 figures, and my property has appreciated about $150k in 3 years, I'll keep doing what I'm doing regardless of anyone else's opinion.

It is my business and I usually keep it to myself and only posted it just in case it might help someone else. I'm not saying you guys are wrong in what you're saying, but you have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to my particular situation. I've been working the numbers and evaluating all options for quite a few months and I know for a fact this one will work for me, it was just a matter of getting into the right rate. I understand those of you calling me an idiot, but you've shown nothing to show that you know any better.

I have a "regular" job, my Wife doesn't work, I never went to college, and I owe less on my mortgage than many of my neighbors for where I am. Oh yea, I guess it might (but maybe not) make a difference if I posted that I've already paid off over 60% of my mortgage.

Anyway, I only posted it attempting to help with ideas for people who are feeling the crunch more of a FWIW rather than a suggestion. It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Instead of blabbing about how dumb I am, post how smart you are. Lets see what you got and how you plan to deal with your future. The idea here is to share for possibly helping others deal with the situation at hand, not to downgrade and shout, "Ha, ha, I'm smarter than you are but I just don't wanna show it."

I have a long-term plan laid out that I think might work for me, do you??? What are you gonna do to send your babies through college???
