Well, no offense, but there isn't a factory exhaust manifold that can hold a candle to headers with regards to unleashing power. The bottomline is that an internal combustion engine is nothing more than a fancy air pump. But the factory design isn't focused on making more power. They are a conservative design to allow the parts to last, helping vehicle longevity and hence, the overall vehicle rating in the public eye. It's all about $$$$$, not track times, in the eyes of the manufacturers....
