I am sure others (that know more than me) will chime in shortly, but from what I have gathered there is no cutting , welding, or modifying to be done with the pro comp lift. It is actually possible to take it off and return to stock if one was so inclined. I have the PC 6" lift and have absolutely no complaints. The only thing I needed to do was to grind the steering stops on the PC spindles.
