I agree with you on the diesel aspect although some countries and a few in the Caribbean tied to the US dollar somewhat have changed their tune. Diesel that used to be less than half the price of gasoline has surpassed it in just a couple of weeks. So a lot of people that were enjoying the fuel economy of diesel now have to pay more for it at the pump, so it about cancels out.  |
The new low sulphur fuel is also the problem. Costs more to make, and doesn't get as good mileage.
