Until you have fully paid for the kit and it is installed, it is never to late to cancel it. I did the same thing you did, before I contacted GREG. Just call the place you ordered it from and tell them your wife says "No," and you changed your mined, money is tight blah blah blah. If they are a good business they will return you your money.
