Re: STS Turbo Titan

I have a buddy that put the stage III (complete at $6K) on his 03 Silverado extra cab 5.3L and it spools up quick. His launch is about the same but a second into it, the truck starts pulling like a scalded dog and doesn't stop. I used to be able to drive circles around him and I am now nothing but rear view mirror material about 3/4 of the way through my first gear.
I can't imagine the rear mount being very good on a vehicle that doesn't already have a strong normally aspirated lauch as it does have a lag from throttle stab but the power follows the NA launch pretty seamless. I assume that is why the STS rear mount market is V8s and large V6s.

The big question is how much lag on this setup there is. Every video I have watched showed a controlled launch/brake stand. I wanna know real world drop the hammer from a dig what these puppies will do.
