sorry, i should have qualified what i said better

when i said "the only changes they can make", they was referring to the original applications in first post, not consult2 ones like cipher

consult 1 capabilities, unlike consult 2, are limited to changes to the ecu only whilst running and are lost when the car is turned off.

those with consult 2 cars can have adjustments made that arent lost (like the timing advance).
