They are cast aluminum which I think might present some challenges.

Specifically has anyone had wheels chromed aftermarket before?

Does it last?

Am I making a mistake by chroming over aluminum?

What should it cost?

Does anybody know of a place that does it that is reliable.

I've seen some on Ebay, out in CA. and they are asking for $600 plus shipping both ways and an additional $600 core deposit? (whatever that is?)

I live in Orlando so the shipping to CA. would be pretty high. looking for somebody closer.

any info would be appreciated. thanks.
I've looked into doing the same on my truck. In my opinion it would be less costly to just replace the stock wheels. I've looked at American Racing / ASA and others. Go to www.tirerack.com and you can actually see what diff wheels will look like on your truck. I liked my wheels until I came across this website and saw what others were actually doing. Damit! Good Luck!
