Well I drilled several 1 7/8"s holes on the front side of the box. The butt dyno sez it moves out quicker, slightly but noticible. I'm still debating on whether or not to just cut the entire airbox from the round tube and install a K&N conical filter on it. It would be about a $50 mod versus $300. I just need to figure out what size inlet to get. The OD of the tube apears to be ~3", but that's just measuring with a tape measure from the box side. Does anyone have an outside caliper they can check the size with?

measure the circumference and divide by 3.14 to get the diameter. a K&N will compress a bit if its a little bigger. juma
