All that button does is switch between CD and DVD (I have the button but I dont have a DVD player in mine). But yes.....the CD player will play CDs loaded up with MP3s...or so it says. I haven't been able to get an MP3 disc to play yet. Must have to be written a certain way.

They say there some programs work and some dont, I hear you can only have 255 in a single cd before you have to put them into folders
