I'll let you slide on the "per se", there, Bub.... I'll need a "get out of jail free" card one day too.

The traction bars did help a bit with the handling, though, I think... It steers nicer and seems to handle better. And it's not just me. My BIL noticed it when we did it, and he was in the passenger seat. now, I know it's not a sway bar, but in linking the frame to the axle, and eliminating the axle movement through the springs, the whole tailend seems to work better. The springs are doing what they should, the rear SAW's are doing what they should and the traction bars are doing what they should, so none of them are trying to multitask and overstepping their design control parameters. It just seems so much better overall to me.

The other thing I noticed immediately is that the side-to-side motion is gone. For instance, when you are leaving a parking lot at an angle and you go over that little drop curb that isn't flush with either the lot or the entrance road, and you get jostled side-to-side and whack your shoulder off the door, well, that's gone in my truck. I go out those exits and just feel a slight vertical drop, not a side-to-side rocking anymore. It's weird at first, but very nice, IMO....
