Right, that's why I said for a 1/2 ton, not a Titan. By serious off roading in a 1/2 ton, I mean a K5 blazer with 37"+ meats and 350+hp tearing through mud pits and up hills and jumps and over logs/small furry woodland creatures, etc. But other than that, yes the Dana 44 is a fine every day, drive down a muddy trail kinda axle.
