Besides rotating your shaft as you say there is slight play, also try moving it up and down on both ends you should not have any movement at all. By doing this it's not like you are going to fix anything but it would be something to tell the service advisor when you describe the problem to check if that is normal and give them an area to look at. That really sucks having problems like this on such a new vehicle. -Keep us posted and Take Care!!
