If you don't mind, Let me know what your Ody did mpg wise? Thanks,Charlie
No problem. My Ody got around 20-22 all highway, probably averaging a little over 70 mph. City was around 15-17. I got around 14-16 towing a 2300# pop-up trailer (on relatively flat highways, a little less in the hills). The highway numbers are with 2 adults, 3 kids, stuff and a 90# Golden on board.

I'd have to say that if you have 3-4 adults, with the rear seat folded down, there's a ton of room for 2 dogs. Plus, there's much more headroom in the back, unlike an SUV that has a higher floor. We usually had the 3rd seat up and put the dog in the back well where the seat folds in. He loved it there.

If you don't need the higher ground clearance/AWD capacity, the Ody's a good choice.

EDIT: I just looked up the "official" MPG numbers, they say 18/25 for the Ody. That may be true considering they now have 5-spd trannys. Mine is a 4-spd.
