Titan Fixation ?

I have seen several posts about people running into Titans, and we have discussed the concept of "target fixation" with respect to these incidents. I have been somewhat skeptical, but now I am beginning to wonder if there is not a "Titan Fixation Syndrome" going around.

On my way to lunch, I was stopped at a stop sign waiting for a long line of traffic to pass on a 30 MPH cross road that goes around a 90 degree bend right after the intersection. A guy on a Harley passes by going fairly slow on the cross road while staring intently at my truck, forgets to make the curve, and dumps his bike. Fortunately he was not injured, and a cop following in a police car helped him pick up his bike. A case of TFS? The only other explanation I can think of is heat stroke as it was about 85 and he had full leathers.
