Titans have also proved it wrong running 15.2's at the track. I have said it on DTW, and i will say it here. Mag's are crap. Track shows it. On street from mash, and go Titan gets the hemi. If you let a hemi rev up, and he dont spin he's gonna get a titan. At the track it shows that, and it dont take a genius too figure it out. Pourdoune didnt set the drag record in his chevy with a hemi in it for nothing. The engine was created for nascar because of its high reving charactistics. When others were running around the track at 9k rpms and maxed. The hemi was running around at 7k. Its why the hemi is notorious in drag racing. Stall it too 3k with some slicks, and the R's are there. Honestly does it really matter if you lose or win by a half of truck length? All as i know is i overloaded my hemi many times, and she just hauls fine regardless of where the power range is. Thats what matters in trucks.

There is alot of misunderstanding about the hemi: first of all the 426 hemi is in no way related to the new 5.7L hemi they are competely different engines. The rights to the hemi name is owned buy dodge how ever many of modern cars engines could arguably be a hemi type design. As was was stated on one of the other forums and I competely agree with Dodges advertising campain has definetly been gears towards the less informed indiviguals.
