Several things seem to point to this...

1. Mention of $5000 of MSRP in some locations ($1,000 under invoice?)
2. Higher Gas Prices (oil edged up $2 a barrel today or 6%)
3. Tons of Titans on the lots (especially in Dallas & FtWorth, TX)
4. Other makes seem to be on the verge of offering big incentives on their trucks with similar large stocks of trucks on the lots.
5. 2005 Model is coming sooner or later.

I just about pulled the trigger over the weekend at a dealership, that was offering any vehicle at invoice, and no add on gimicks (tint, floor mats, scotch guard) at a lower interest rate than Dodge or Ford was offering.

But I have decided to wait a bit more. Another thing I wonder, if the truck market gets worse, and the incentives really start hitting, It will seem to hurt resell value as well. I guess you can't have it both ways..

my 2 cents
Just come on down to San Antonio. Theres a dealership here selling Titan XEs at $18,700 . I got mine from another dealer for $19,000. Here in SA everyone has either a Chevy or a Ford so the Nissan dealers are looking to move them. When I was looking at my truck it had been on the lot for over 90 days, so you know they're getting desperate around here.
