Front Passenger Seat Removal Warning and Headlight Strobes

I am with a volunteer fire department and was working on placing my fire radio and lights in my Titan over the weekend and found out two important items. First, if you remove the front Passenger seat, there are two wire harnesses that have to be removed. Prior to removing these, disconnect BOTH the positive and negative battery cables and wait at least 3 minutes. I removed only the negative cable and when I reconnected the seat harness and turned on the ignition, my airbag light was blinking. I had to take it to the dealer to have the light reset.

Second, I was installing hide-a-way headlight strobes and tailight strobes for my warning lights. Anyone looking at doing this, I would steer away from it. The headlight assembly is double walled and when you drill through the back of the assembly, there is a space before you get the reflector. Also, the only strobes I would use are the grommet style since the material is to thin to use the screw in type. With this being a sealed unit, I had to silicone around the two holes, hopefully this will keep out the condensation.
