My front axle/diff failed in my 04 about 2 years ago. It has the 2" kit on it, and I can tell you that the kit did not cause it but it did make a poor axle design worse. My axles only popped out in 4-lo, and if I hit a dry spot while turning. Luckily they where easy to put in with the end of a shovel handle. After the whole run around with new axles, new clips, and seals the dealer finnaly replaced the front diff. I have had no other problems since and it still has the leveling kit.
