Nah thankfully I make good money, plenty of money in the bank to live at least a year if I lost my job.. so I don't need to sink THAT low. Plus I'm becoming a Police Officer. Tires arn't worth risking my dream career.
HOWEVER, peep this. It's wrong, yes. But if you got laid off from work, money became tight, and you NEEDED tires. I mean, you have steel showing on 2 tires and the other two are pretty bald. Your bills are past due, and you can't afford tires for the next two months but you need your truck to drive to interviews and get grocerys. Even after you get hired, you can't afford tires for the 40 miles to drive round trip everyday.. Then yes, I would have to say in situations sometimes you got to do what you have to do, to survive
