The spacer is a little better but not much. The problem is limited downward travel of the suspension. The problem with the Daystar kit is that the shocks top out. Yes, the spacer will keep the shock from topping out but you only have about another 1/2 inch of suspension travel after the shock tops out before the suspension itself tops out. And in order to keep the suspension from topping out which means metal on metal, you will need a bump stop. That pretty much will eat up the 1/2 inch you gain if not more. So in other words, you will still be in the same boat.
