I did something similar but kept my blank slot in case I do something different in the future....

I took a piece of black plastic that came with my took box organizer and cut a plate to cover the hole. I used the switch that came with my Hella's and screwed it all together... looks OK for now and works great... I do not have any pics of it yet but will have to get some now!
