Because it's completely worthless.... Crap slides around on it when turning... and the plastic is the cheapest crap this side of Chinese takeout! It scratches so easily and looks like crap in a very short time. Crap crap crap... just crap...

Oh, I got mine from Infiniti-Parts.com for $67.62 shipped. That was in June of '07 so they probably went up.
