If you have already removed the offending stuff from the paint, claybar WILL NOT remove any etching that may have occurred. Don't waste your time. If you can still see the area where it landed, this means the clearcoat is etched. Claybar only works to remove surface contaminants. I recommend you try 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. It is a relatively mild (very little abrasive) liquid that will help remove the etching you have on your paint. Follow the instructions on the bottle. Rewax after application. For future reference, keep a small bottle of detail spray or distilled water and a microfiber cloth in your truck. Hit the stuff as soon as you can, hopefully before it dries.
